Weighbridge and Customer Assistant

About the Role We are looking for a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Weighbridge and Customer Assistant in Oxford. In this part-time role, which consists of 11 hours per week, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while accurately weighing vehicles and materials. The hours for this position are Friday and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner. - Operate weighbridge equipment to accurately weigh vehicles and materials. - Record and maintain accurate weighing data and records. - Respond to customer inquiries and provide relevant information as needed. - Resolve customer issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Operations Manager. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have: - Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in spreadsheets. - Attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and record-keeping. - Problem-solving abilities to effectively address customer concerns. - The ability to operate weighbridge equipment. - Previous experience in a customer service or operations role is preferred. - Experience in a weighbridge or related environment is also preferred.
