About the Role We are currently seeking permanent, part-time Support Workers to join our Whanau Support Services team in Masterton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals within their homes and communities, helping them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Your contributions will assist our clients in achieving their personal dreams and goals, whether that involves swimming, attending sporting events, participating in arts and crafts, watching movies, or shopping. The possibilities are endless. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and possess qualities such as kindness and understanding. While previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly with youth, it is not mandatory. Essential qualifications include: - A full driver's license and ownership of a vehicle - A strong desire to support individuals in learning new skills and achieving their goals - An energetic and outgoing personality, with the ability to think creatively - Respect for diverse perspectives and lifestyles - Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness, as our clients come from varied backgrounds with differing needs and interests Benefits Joining our team comes with competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour.
