About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting car, truck, and off-the-road (OTR) tyres from designated sites.
- Planning and executing collection routes across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.
- Utilizing the Tyrewise system to create run sheets and accurately record collections.
- Supervising and supporting the collections team as needed.
- Ensuring the safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Upholding high safety and compliance standards at all times.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workday, can operate independently, and is comfortable taking on a leadership role when required.
Requirements
Licences & Certifications:
- Full NZ Class 2 Licence (essential)
- WTR endorsements (essential)
- Forklift OSH (preferred)
Experience & Attributes:
- Physically fit and capable of handling tyre loading tasks.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Comfortable using technology (system training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Reliable and proactive with a positive attitude.
