About the Role
We have multiple opportunities for skilled excavator operators to join our team. The roles involve a variety of tasks in bulk earthworks, road construction, and drainage.
In the bulk earthworks area, you will be responsible for loading dump trucks with soil and aggregate, as well as cutting soil and clay using 20T - 30T machines. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.00 to $35.00.
For road construction, your duties will include digging out existing roads, preparing the sub-base, and performing finishing and trimming work to achieve final levels with 5T - 12T machines. This position offers an hourly rate of $26.00 to $32.00.
In the drainage sector, you will trench around services and shields for pipe installation, as well as sling pipe into trenches and carry out reinstatement work. The compensation for this role is between $28.00 and $35.00 per hour.
Requirements
To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Class 1 with WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) certification; Class 2 is advantageous
- Two referees who can confirm your experience
