    About the Company Selwyn House is a welcoming community located in a peaceful street in Birkenhead, surrounded by charming gardens. We provide subsidized rental accommodation for individuals aged 70 and over, fostering a supportive and communal living environment for our 11 residents. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. About the Role We are currently seeking a House Supervisor to join our team at Selwyn House. This role involves working weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM, totaling 10 hours per week. As a House Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly residents in a shared living setting. Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing nutritious meals, assisting with weekly shopping, and organizing recreational activities and hobbies. Additionally, you will help maintain the cleanliness and organization of communal areas, creating a healthy and safe living environment for our residents. Requirements To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills: - Strong cooking abilities - A full, clean driving license - Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships - Intermediate IT skills (preferred) - A commitment to delivering service excellence - An outgoing personality with a positive attitude and an empathetic, caring nature - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Self-motivated with effective organizational skills - Ideally, a relevant qualification in aged care - A valid First Aid certificate Benefits We believe in making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, and we seek individuals who share this passion.
