About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Foreman Carpenter to take on a hands-on leadership role in managing small to mid-sized construction and insurance-related projects. In this position, you will oversee on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and manage materials and equipment, all while ensuring compliance with our company standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
As the successful candidate, you will have the autonomy to make on-the-ground decisions while working closely with the Project Manager. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high-quality work and fostering a productive team environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Qualified Carpenter, with a preference for those who hold a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) certification.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams.
- A solid background in residential renovations and maintenance work.
- Highly organized with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- An in-depth understanding of health and safety standards and building codes.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong computer literacy and cost awareness, along with a customer-focused attitude.
