About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our remarkable team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about payroll and thrive in a supportive environment. As a Payroll Officer, you will work 30 hours a week, allowing for a balanced approach to work and personal life. Your primary responsibilities will include processing weekly payroll for a diverse range of candidates, managing necessary reporting such as IRD filing, and ensuring compliance with New Zealand employment and payroll legislation. We are looking for someone with an intermediate level of experience who can accurately and efficiently deliver payroll services. Requirements To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience specifically within New Zealand. - A strong understanding of New Zealand employment laws, payroll-related legislation, and best practices. - Experience in managing large payrolls; familiarity with Astute payroll software is an advantage. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - A commitment to aligning with our company values and integrating seamlessly into our vibrant culture. - A positive, can-do attitude and genuine interest in payroll.
