About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team at the AFFCO Head Office. This one-year fixed-term role offers flexible working hours, ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week. You will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll information.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inputting and maintaining payroll information in the electronic payroll system.
- Performing general administrative duties, including financial administration and reporting.
- Managing the collation of daily and weekly Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) requirements for the Injury Management Unit (IMU).
- Completing and collating data for new claims, running reports for weekly compensation calculations, and reconciling summary data for weekly payrolls.
- Conducting accuracy checks and auditing of data.
- Providing timely and professional payroll services to plant payroll administrators and the IMU.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with payroll-related employment legislation is advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience with MYOB Pay Global or similar large payroll systems is preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
