About the Role We are currently seeking a Casual Coordinator Operational Support (Driver) to join our team at our Hawkes Bay site. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of products to various customer locations, acting as the face of the Compass Group brand. Key responsibilities include ensuring on-time delivery, problem-solving, and fostering strong customer relationships. Our operations run five days a week, and we require someone who is available for a rotating roster from Monday to Friday. Immediate availability would be advantageous. Your Responsibilities - Conduct safety checks on vehicles, including fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness. - Pickup and load meals, ensuring proper packing, labeling, and sorting at the site. - Monitor meal temperatures and report any delivery discrepancies. - Deliver meals while adhering to driving restrictions and timelines. - Engage with customers and staff in a professional manner, addressing any raised issues. - Communicate feedback to management promptly and keep the feedback provider informed of progress. - Manage drop-off and pick-up of Cambros at assigned locations. - Take appropriate food safety actions and inform management when necessary. - Report any accidents, incidents, or events that occur during meal delivery. - Carry out maintenance programs for all vehicles. - Build positive relationships by communicating regularly with key customer contacts. About You Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A valid, current, and full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence. - A clean Police Criminal Background check. - Physical fitness, as the role involves multiple stops on a strict timeline. - Reliability and a strong work ethic.
