About the Role We are currently seeking a positive and enthusiastic individual to join our Profit Protection Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our store and its customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Preventing theft and damage within the store - Maintaining a visible security presence during store operating hours - Focusing on reducing shrinkage and promoting loss prevention - Upholding the company’s image by delivering excellent customer service The ideal candidate will be quick-thinking, assertive yet polite, and possess strong attention to detail. Requirements In addition to the above qualities, we are looking for candidates who ideally have: - Basic computer knowledge - Experience and confidence in using CCTV and other monitoring equipment - A good level of fitness, as the role requires being on your feet for most of the day - An understanding of health, safety, and wellness practices relevant to retail, ensuring the safety of both our team and customers This is a full-time position, with shifts scheduled either from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
