About the Role
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Quality Inwards Officer to join our team of dedicated Quality Control professionals at our Penrose location. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our raw and packaging materials adhere to our documented quality management system, which is essential for releasing products that are fit for market.
As a Quality Inwards Officer, you will report to the Quality Control Team Leader and collaborate closely with our Inwards, Inventory, Procurement, Planning, and Quality Assurance teams. We value punctuality in this role, and we expect our Quality Inwards Officer to start work between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM to align with our Day Shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sampling of raw and packaging materials as well as finished goods.
- Verify that incoming documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and MPI-related documents (e.g., Export Declarations), are accurate.
- Maintain master packing material standards.
- Release materials for production.
- Prepare Reject Reports and Return to Supplier Reports.
- Assist with Quality Assurance tasks related to production documentation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
- The physical capability to manage manual handling requirements, including maneuvering items weighing up to 25 kilograms.
