About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our supportive team as a Cook's Assistant. This is a full-time position with scheduled hours from Wednesday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, although we can be flexible on days for the right candidate. In this role, you will assist our chefs in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. Your responsibilities will also include helping with the preparation and presentation of food and providing support to your colleagues. About You To excel in our caring and supportive environment, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) or a willingness to obtain it - Proven experience in food preparation - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor - A strong commitment to food hygiene and cleanliness Please note that while we welcome applications from overseas candidates, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position due to immigration regulations.
