About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Te Ara Manapou. In this vital role, you will support the delivery of high-quality care within our Addictions and Maternal Mental Health services. You will provide daily clinical leadership, coordinate referrals and resources, and serve as an essential clinical resource for our team.
This position not only allows you to influence service delivery but also offers the chance to mentor others and contribute to equity-focused, bicultural practices that support tangata whaiora and their whanau. You will work within a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, innovation, and culturally responsive care, playing a key role in shaping service pathways to ensure we provide safe, effective, and compassionate care for our community.
About the Team/Service/Location
Te Ara Manapou is located on Queen Street in Hastings, where we deliver specialized care in addictions and maternal mental health. Our team is devoted to providing holistic, culturally safe, and equitable services that align with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We collaborate closely with whanau, community providers, and other health services to promote wellbeing across the region.

About You
As a Clinical Coordinator, you will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand or an Allied Health Regulatory Authority
- A minimum of five years of clinical experience in mental health, including community settings
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate clinical teams
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and achieving equity in health outcomes
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
