About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 5 Driver to join our high-performing team in Christchurch. This position offers competitive pay rates, which are negotiable based on experience. The role involves operating Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently across metro or linehaul routes. Shift times are from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering freight on time while maintaining high levels of care and accuracy. You will also be required to complete all necessary documentation and utilize in-vehicle technology. Requirements To be successful in this position, you will need: - A clean and current Class 5 licence with proven driving experience - A strong commitment to health and safety - Good communication skills and a team-player attitude - Physical fitness and reliability, along with effective time management - Knowledge of load restraint and secure freight handling - Competence in driving both manual and automatic gearboxes - An OSH Certificate and DG and F endorsements are essential Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
