About the Role We are seeking a qualified clinical pharmacist for a permanent position, available on either a full-time or part-time basis (up to 40 hours per week). This role is ideal for a pharmacist with a minimum of three years of clinical hospital experience. As a clinical pharmacist, you will engage in both ward-based activities and dispensary services, supported by a team of dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Your responsibilities will include participating in ward rounds, conducting medicines reconciliation, providing discharge counseling, and promoting the safe and effective use of medications. You will have the opportunity to work in various clinical areas, including medical, surgical, cardiology, and pediatrics, among others. Our goal is for you to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services that focus on enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring optimal medication utilization. About the Team/Service/Location Our pharmacy team is well-respected among clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management throughout the organization. We continually seek ways to enhance the services and care we provide. Our pharmacy department maintains a strong clinical presence across all hospital areas and has established connections within the local community. We offer a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical care and extended roles across various clinical settings. Our team values professional growth and places a strong emphasis on clinical development and medication optimization for our patients. About You We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with at least three years of hospital experience. Candidates should hold a valid New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in good standing. We value self-motivated individuals who enjoy collaborating with healthcare professionals. Effective teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential. We seek individuals who are eager to learn and develop their clinical expertise with the support of a friendly pharmacy team.
