About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team for light commercial building projects in Christchurch and its surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who possess skills in various aspects of construction, including foundations, tilt panels, slabs, roof trusses, framing, and internal carpentry. If you can read plans and work independently with minimal supervision, we would love to hear from you. Requirements - Proven experience in light commercial construction - Proficiency in foundations, tilt panels, framing, trusses, and internal carpentry - Ability to read construction drawings and work according to plans - A Site Safe or Construct Safe ticket (we can assist with obtaining this) - Ownership of personal tools - Strong work ethic and attention to detail, along with a positive attitude - Reliable transportation - Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test - All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand Benefits - Competitive hourly wage ranging from $28.00 to $35.00, depending on experience - Opportunities for ongoing projects with potential for long-term employment - Work on diverse commercial builds within a supportive and professional environment Why Choose Max People?
