About the Role We are currently seeking both Junior and Experienced Stainless Steel Polishers to join our team in Blenheim. In this role, you will be a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working on a variety of projects. Our specialization lies in the design and manufacture of stainless steel winery equipment, including tanks, walkways, conveyors, drains, and fittings. What You Will Be Doing You will primarily work on wine and dairy silos, performing tasks such as grinding, sanding, and polishing stainless steel. Additional responsibilities will include dressing, preparing, and ensuring the necessary finishes are achieved. You may also assist with other tasks, including welding, while adhering to quality standards and customer specifications. Completing relevant health and safety training for your role, such as Confined Space and Heights training, is also required. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have experience with stainless steel polishing and a solid understanding of polishing equipment, including seam polishing. You should be competent in achieving various finishes and standards, such as Dairy Grade, Pharmaceutical Grade, and Architectural/Aesthetic finishes. Excellent technical abilities and attention to detail are essential, as is the capacity to work on projects with limited supervision.
