Factory Production Assistant

About the Role We are currently seeking factory process workers to join our team near Rolleston. In this fast-paced environment, you will be involved in various tasks on the production line, including sorting, quality control, packing products, and general production duties. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training for all new employees. We have on-call positions available for motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team. Day shifts run from 5:45 am to 6:15 pm, while night shifts are from 5:45 pm to 6:15 am. Preference will be given to candidates who are flexible with their availability and can accept shifts on short notice. Night shift positions come with additional salary incentives, and we are looking for candidates who can start immediately. Key Responsibilities - Operate machines, including filling machines, case packers, and palletising robots - Assist with general production line duties - Address issues related to damaged or wasted products - Maximise production uptime - Engage in product packing, sampling, and testing - Maintain cleanliness of the production line and equipment About You This is an entry-level role, and while prior factory experience is beneficial, it is not required. You will need to pass drug tests and Ministry of Justice checks. We are looking for honest, reliable self-starters who excel in teamwork and can lead by example. Ideal candidates will enjoy a diverse work environment and possess the ability to take direction while also stepping up to lead when necessary.
