About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team and work on a diverse range of exciting projects in the beautiful Hawkes Bay region. If you are skilled in carpentry and enjoy working on various tasks – from residential builds to commercial fit-outs and civil works – we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of projects, ensuring that no two days are the same. Your tasks will include: - Residential, commercial, and civil carpentry - 1st, 2nd, and final fix work - Reading and interpreting plans and specifications - Shuttering joinery and steel tying - Framing, subflooring, cladding, and roofing work - Concrete formwork (a significant advantage) Requirements To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in carpentry - Trade qualification is preferred, but not essential if your experience aligns with our requirements - Your own hand and power tools - Reliable transportation - Two solid work references - A strong commitment to health and safety practices - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $35, depending on your experience. You can expect guaranteed hours of 30 or more per week, with ongoing work across a variety of projects.
