About Our Role
We are currently seeking two part-time, fixed-term Cooks to join our team at Granger House Lifecare. These positions involve working 21 hours per week across AM, PM, and weekend shifts. If you have a passion for cooking in a culinary environment and want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply.
As a Cook, your primary responsibility will be to prepare hearty and nutritious meals that meet individual dietary requirements. We are looking for individuals who exhibit a positive, can-do attitude, are reliable, and are willing to lend a hand as needed, including working weekends.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in catering and food service, preferably in a commercial kitchen
- A culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- A passion for creating good food and delivering an exceptional dining experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- A genuine love for helping people, complemented by excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience in delivering meals to a high-quality standard
