About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead and inspire our Christchurch-based team of Sales Consultants who are focused on selling homes "off the plan." This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and contributing to Wolfbrook's growth strategy in the residential property market.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Performance
In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop Sales Consultants to consistently meet and exceed their sales targets. You will monitor and review both individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, mentoring, and structured development plans. Fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture within the sales team will be essential.
Sales Strategy and Execution
You will drive sales of off-the-plan residential developments in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury market. Your responsibilities will include delivering sales strategies that align with Wolfbrook's pricing, product positioning, and marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will oversee and optimize the sales funnel, from lead generation to contract closure, and provide market insights and competitor intelligence to refine our sales strategies.
Customer Experience
Ensuring an outstanding end-to-end customer journey will be a priority, from the initial inquiry through to settlement. You will also be responsible for resolving escalated customer issues promptly, thereby maintaining Wolfbrook's reputation for professionalism and care.
Operational Excellence
You will oversee compliance with sales processes, contracts, and legal requirements. Additionally, maintaining accurate sales reporting and forecasting for senior leadership will be part of your role. You will also contribute to product feedback loops with our Development, Construction, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with buyer demand.
Requirements
We seek candidates with proven success in residential property sales, with a preference for those with off-the-plan or new build experience. A minimum of 3-5 years in a sales leadership or management role with a track record of leading high-performing teams is required. Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are essential, along with an understanding of property contracts, lending, and the residential development process being desirable.
