We are currently representing a client who is in search of an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to enhance their corporate services capabilities within a complex and high-impact environment. About the Role
In the role of CFO, you will have comprehensive oversight of finance, payroll, internal audit, asset management, and information systems. Your primary responsibilities will include driving financial strategy, improving operational performance, and developing systems to ensure compliance while effectively engaging stakeholders. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a vital role in influencing the organization's leadership and strategic direction.
Responsibilities
You will lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
In addition, you will oversee statutory compliance and audit requirements, manage treasury and asset management, and develop property strategy.
Providing leadership to the information systems and payroll teams will also be part of your role.
You will deliver timely business insights, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance analysis while partnering with the CEO, Board, and senior stakeholders.
Furthermore, you will guide governance and risk management practices and foster professional development and succession planning within your team.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
You should have experience in senior financial leadership roles and a proven track record in managing finance, IT, payroll, and audit functions.
Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities are essential, along with demonstrated change management skills and commercial acumen.
High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also crucial for this position.
