About the Role MEGA Petone, with a team of approximately 150 members, is in need of a highly motivated individual with exceptional leadership and influencing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing profitability, growth, and efficiency across all operational areas of the store. You will lead and collaborate with the team to ensure that customer service remains the primary focus. Other important responsibilities will include stock management, maintaining store standards, ensuring operational efficiency, and upholding health and safety protocols. You will report directly to the General Manager, and we are looking for candidates who possess: - A proven track record in retail leadership - A passion for customer service excellence and the ability to cultivate a customer-first culture - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the capability to lead change and implement improvements - The ability to motivate, coach, and empower team members to achieve their best performance - An understanding of key retail drivers, including inventory management, margins, and sales performance This position is fast-paced and varied, requiring a high level of adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
