About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fresh Food Supervisor who has experience in leading a team and is eager for their next challenge. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment, where job security and stability are paramount.
As a Fresh Food Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service while managing and supervising team members. You will also oversee food planning, preparation, production, and presentation, as well as maintain food safety and health and safety standards. Supporting the seafood team and assisting with stock ordering and supplier communication will also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience supervising and managing a busy and diverse team
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with a variety of individuals
- Proficiency in using computer programs, with SAP experience being ideal
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety management
- A proven background in food production and cooking, as we create an extensive range of in-house products
The shifts for this position will be negotiated during the interview process. The role requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week and will report directly to the Deli Manager.
