About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive pay rate of $30 to $35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience. As the Online Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence within the Online shopping department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating, and training the Online team while ensuring adherence to best practices and operational procedures.
- Managing staff rosters and wage percentages in collaboration with the Owner Operator.
- Overseeing the housekeeping and cleanliness of the Staging Area, Online equipment, and vehicles.
- Verifying deliveries and orders against the manifest to ensure the correct quantity and quality of goods.
- Delivering shopping orders to customers in excellent condition and within specified timeframes.
- Communicating effectively with our online customers regarding their orders.
- Efficiently loading and unloading deliveries and orders.
- Ensuring compliance with ID checking procedures for restricted goods.
- Assisting Online Shoppers with order picking when necessary.
- Accurately picking, packing, and processing customer orders.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess strong people management and leadership skills. Experience with SAP is advantageous, although we provide training for this. Comfort with using tablets and computers is essential, and we will also train you on our picking and delivery software.
Additional requirements include:
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A valid Class 1 NZ Driver's License.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently to complete tasks.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and stacking responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and strong organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of presentation.
- Outstanding communication skills.
