About the Role
We are currently seeking a Podiatrist to join our energetic team at the Taupo clinic. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact while being surrounded by some of the most beautiful outdoor adventures New Zealand has to offer. From kayaking and sailing on Lake Taupo to hiking and biking in nearby trails, you will find a perfect balance of work and recreation.
As a Podiatrist with Foot Mechanics, you will treat a diverse range of conditions in a supportive environment. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and be part of a dynamic team that values connection and professional growth. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional patient care through assessments, planning, and delivering general podiatry services, including but not limited to:
- Diabetic care
- Minor surgeries such as toenail and verruca operations
- Prescribing medical devices like orthotics, braces, and casts
Requirements
We welcome applicants of all experience levels. Learning and development opportunities will be tailored to successful candidates based on their background. To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand
- Registration with the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand and possession of a current annual practicing certificate
- Exceptional communication skills
- A strong commitment to providing compassionate and empathetic patient care
