About the Role
We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team at Roseneath Lifecare & Village in beautiful Carterton. The position includes AM, PM, and weekend shifts. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious, and visually appealing meals for our residents in an aged care facility. You will work in a fully operational kitchen and be supported by a collaborative team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a commercial setting
- Excellent food hygiene skills, along with a current food hygiene certificate or the willingness to obtain one
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team while being self-motivated
