About the Role
We are excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term Pharmacy Intern position at Tauranga Hospital Pharmacy for 2026. This role is an excellent opportunity to launch your pharmacy career in a dynamic hospital environment. As a pharmacy intern, you will gain hands-on experience delivering high-quality pharmacy services across various clinical areas.
You will join our dedicated team, which is committed to supporting your development throughout your internship. The position will expose you to a range of clinical areas through rotations and shadowing, helping you to build your core pharmacist skills. Our team regularly engages in clinical case discussions, medicines information sessions, and pharmacist education, enhancing your learning experience. Additionally, we collaborate closely with local community pharmacies to provide valuable community pharmacy experience.
While our team is large enough to ensure a diverse range of experiences, we pride ourselves on offering individualized support during your internship year. Our department is focused on developing a thriving workforce, encouraging team members to work at the top of their scope within an integrated healthcare framework.
About You
To be eligible for this position, you should hold, or be nearing completion of, a Bachelor of Pharmacy. We will cover the PSNZ Evolve training fees.
