About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated nail technician to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at delivering high-quality nail services to our clients. Your expertise in nail care and your ability to connect with clients will be crucial to our success. Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will perform consultations to understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate services. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation will be essential, as will cleaning and shaping clients' finger and toenails. Your responsibilities will include removing old polish, preparing nails for services, and performing hand and foot massages. You will also be tasked with trimming nails, pushing back cuticles, and applying nail polish, as well as various types of artificial nails. We expect you to comply with all health and safety standards while showcasing your skills in pedicure, manicure, gel application, SNS dipping, acrylic work, and nail art. You will maintain an inventory of nail salon products, sanitize equipment and tools between each client, and evaluate clients' nails, offering care tips and product recommendations. Building strong relationships with clients is important to us, and you will play a key role in ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits. Additionally, you may assist with product orders and any other duties as reasonably required by your employer. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should have at least two years of relevant work experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF level 4 in beauty therapy. Excellent time management skills are essential, and we require full-time availability with no criminal record. You must also be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate ranging from a minimum of $25.00 per hour to a maximum of $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
