About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled WoF Automotive Technician to join our team at VTNZ Upper Hutt on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles for our customers. We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $33 to $40, along with secure employment at our iconic Kiwi company. Requirements Our ideal candidate is a dedicated mechanic who pays attention to detail and possesses strong interpersonal skills. You should be sociable, knowledgeable about your trade, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. The position involves working 40 hours per week, which may include some rostered weekends. While having a WoF Authority is preferred, we are open to candidates without it. If you have at least 4 years of full-time experience in repairs and maintenance related to safety aspects of light on-road motor vehicles, we can assist you in obtaining your WoF Authority through our training center. A minimum Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license or equivalent is also required. If you hold a Level 4 qualification or higher, this experience requirement can be reduced to 3 years.
