About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Wellington Central PC. If you are a Sales Assistant looking to take on more responsibility and advance your career in retail, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position requires full-time availability, including one weekend day.
What Will You Be Doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing counter and till operations
- Assisting customers and providing first-class customer service
- Potentially overseeing a department
- Maintaining a clean and organized department
- Retrieving stock and replenishing shelves in your area
- Supporting online customers by efficiently picking and packing orders
- Ensuring accurate pricing on tickets
- Coaching team members occasionally
What Will You Need to Bring to This Role?
To succeed in this position, you should have:
- Experience in a retail environment
- A customer service-oriented mindset, with a strong appreciation for the importance of our customers
- Readiness to take on department lead and key-holder responsibilities
- The ability to motivate and lead other team members
- A driven and motivated approach to achieving goals
- Flexibility to adapt to the demands of the retail environment
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The capacity to work independently without supervision
