About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about fabrication to join our team as apprentices. This is an excellent opportunity to earn qualifications at no cost while receiving paid training.
As a Light Fabrication Apprentice, you will work with lightweight metals such as stainless steel and aluminum, producing items like handrails, balustrades, and bench tops. You will also play a crucial role in the manufacturing of boats and various components used in the marine industry.
In the Heavy Fabrication Apprentice role, you will work with heavier gauge plates and pipes, fabricating a wide range of products, including trailers and earthmoving machinery.
If you are interested in Steel Construction, as a Steel Construction Apprentice, you will focus on structural steel, working with materials that are at least 4mm thick. Your work will contribute to the construction industry as well as the repair and creation of diverse components, such as boilers and tanks for heavy machinery.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and have an interest in working with metals and various fabrication techniques. Preference will be given to candidates who may already be partway through a related qualification, possess a relevant level 3 pre-trade qualification, or have prior experience in this sector.
