Plant Operator (Casual)

About the Company PGG Wrightson Seeds is recognized as one of New Zealand's top processors of seed and grain products for the arable industry. We operate across New Zealand and Australia, providing essential products and services to arable growers, livestock producers, and food and feed manufacturers. About the Role We are currently seeking a casual Plant Operator to join our team on an as-needed basis, particularly during our busy harvest periods. This role is practical and hands-on, ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety-oriented, and eager to contribute to our team’s success. In this position, you will assist with various tasks, including: - Supporting the intake, drying, and storage of grain - Facilitating daily plant operations and maintaining site cleanliness - Operating and checking machinery (training will be provided) - Recording grain movements and managing basic documentation - Assisting with bagging and manufacturing as required - Adhering to site health and safety procedures We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the agricultural industry. While prior experience in plant operations or a similar field is beneficial, it is not a requirement, as we offer comprehensive training to help you succeed.
