About the Role
We are seeking a Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our team in Rolleston. This position offers a variety of tasks, allowing you to apply and grow your skillset. In this role, you will be involved in several stainless steel fabrication projects, including onsite installations.
Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and plans, fabricating stainless steel components, and performing high-quality finishing and polishing. You will also be responsible for onsite installations as needed. It is essential that you follow up on assigned work daily, ensuring it is executed safely and to the highest standards.
Given the technical nature of some of our machinery, we are looking for mechanically-minded individuals who can maintain accurate documentation and records, both written and electronic. You will also serve as the primary contact for all maintenance issues, so strong communication skills are vital.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday day shift schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a stainless steel fabricator is essential
- Confidence in welding techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Health and Safety focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems
- Physically capable of performing the job requirements
