About the Role
In this position, you will provide early intervention health and wellbeing support to Primary and Intermediate Schools. The Mana Ake service is designed to be health-led but delivered in partnership with the education sector. This collaboration allows us to address wellbeing needs as they are identified within a community setting.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our clinical mental health and wellbeing team implements evidence-based individual, group, and class-wide wellbeing programs for tamariki. Additionally, we offer broader wellbeing support to kura and schools within the Rotorua area. For more information about living and working in Rotorua, please visit our website.
About You
We are looking for a clinician who is:
- An experienced health professional with current registration in Nursing, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Well-versed in working with communities, tamariki, and whanau.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- In possession of a full driver's license.
