The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pathophysiological and psychosocial factors that influence health needs. You should be skilled in assessment, clinical formulation, planning, and delivering care that aligns with our model of care, Te Ara Tauwhirotanga.
Experience in an acute care setting is essential, as you will be working closely with tangata whaiora and their whānau to help them achieve their health goals. You should be capable of providing advanced assessment and management of complex nursing care in a community mental health setting, with a focus on equity to improve outcomes for Māori clients.
To qualify, you must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse eligible to work in mental health, with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
