About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified clinical psychologist to join our Kaupapa Māori Mental Health Team at MidCentral, a leading provider of mental health services in the lower North Island. Our team, Oranga Hinengaro, focuses on enhancing the level and effectiveness of mental health services for Māori experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges.
Our vision for Oranga Hinengaro is to promote mental wellbeing from Māori perspectives. We aspire to create a future where mental health services are shaped by the insights and experiences of those with lived experience, alongside clinical and cultural viewpoints.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a skilled professional with clinical expertise and a solid background in mental health. We are looking for someone who is committed to equity and is eager to work within Kaupapa Services. Collaboration is essential, as you will be part of a team that works with Mental Health FACT programs, focusing on developing Māori insights to support whaiora and whānau Māori.
