The Salvation Army has been dedicated to transforming lives since its inception in 1865. Operating in over 130 countries and coordinated from our International Headquarters in London, we are a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005. In New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa, we employ over 3,000 officers and staff members and are recognized as a high-value employer. Our mission focuses on caring for people, transforming lives, and reforming society.
Our Early Childhood Education Centres
Our Early Childhood Education Centres offer quality Christian Early Childhood Care and Education, along with comprehensive support services for families in the local community. We are guided by our core values, which include Wairuatanga (Spirituality), Whakaute (Respectful Relationships), Whanaungatanga (Whanau Connection), Matauranga Manaaki (Care as Curriculum), Mana Aoturoa (Exploration), Harikoa (Joy), Kainga (Our Place), and our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a registered teacher to join our exceptional team at our centre. If you are a passionate educator who thrives in a supportive team environment and enjoys building meaningful relationships, this is a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a nurturing framework. We look forward to hearing from you.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are dedicated to serving the local community, as our centre operates within a community hub that focuses on providing comprehensive wraparound services to families.
