About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring leader for our Centre Manager position who prioritizes people and brings heart to their work. As a key member of our team, you will embody our values of Kotahitanga (togetherness), Manaakitanga (welcoming), Mahia te mahi (progress), and Kia manawanui (possibilities) every day. Your leadership will ensure that every child is seen, heard, and celebrated in our vibrant center.
You will lead a capable and passionate team of Kaiako and Kaimahi who take pride in the care and education they provide. Our center, licensed for 100 tamariki, is a lively and joyful environment filled with laughter and discovery. You will have the opportunity to enhance our meaningful partnerships with Kaiako, whanau, and the wider community while collaborating closely with your Area Manager to drive occupancy success.
As our Centre Manager, you will blend heart-led leadership with practical know-how, empowering your team to shine while managing daily operations smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who is excited to lead with purpose, support quality practices, and foster growth in others.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should hold an ECE qualification and Full Teaching Registration. We are looking for someone who has previously led a center and understands how to create a joyful, high-performing environment. Your leadership style should be people-focused, kind, and grounded in strong communication and trust. You should be a calm, solutions-oriented thinker who thrives in the dynamic pace of center life. Most importantly, your passion for learning and openness to new ideas will set you apart as you lead with warmth and optimism.
