About the Role We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Upper Hutt. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about empowering Tangata Whaiora on their individual recovery journeys. We value candidates who possess skills and experience in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. In this role, you will be part of our dynamic mental health and addictions team located at CBD Towers on Main Street, Upper Hutt. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of community and inpatient mental health professionals, as well as network with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) throughout the Kapiti, Hutt Valley, Wellington, and Wairarapa regions. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this position. About You We are looking for a progressive and enthusiastic nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team, ideally with previous experience in mental health. Candidates should have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate program in mental health or intellectual disability nursing, and must hold a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate (APC). Mental health experience, particularly in community settings, is essential. Additionally, a current full driver’s license is required.
