About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual for a part-time position, where you will work 40 hours every fortnight. Your schedule will be Sunday to Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM. In this role, you will join a collaborative team that empowers individuals to achieve community inclusion and self-determination. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those we support and contribute to the well-being of the wider community.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A genuine passion for helping people, along with patience, friendliness, and kindness
- An understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with individuals
- Professionalism, honesty, and reliability as a team player with a flexible approach
- Energy and enthusiasm for working as part of a team
- Ability to assist with personal care when required
- A full New Zealand Driver Licence, as driving a MASH van is part of the role
- A New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing is preferred
