About the Role We are looking for energetic and organized individuals to join our team in Rotorua. Our offerings include both school term and holiday programs. As part of our team, you will help deliver a range of engaging activities, including Engineering Wonders, Cool Builders, Future Inventors, Sporty Stars, and Super Artists. In this role, you will guide children through a variety of fun experiences that encourage exploration, innovation, self-discovery, and enjoyment. Shift times are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with specific hours depending on the site. Additional hours may be available for Before School Care and Holiday Programs based on your assigned school and willingness to travel between sites. What Will You Be Doing? In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and caring for children - Preparing breakfast and afternoon tea - Facilitating activities and games - Engaging in arts and crafts - Actively participating and interacting with children - Setting up and cleaning up activity areas and facilities - Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of the children and staff - Treating all children with dignity and respect while providing positive encouragement Requirements We value attitude and enthusiasm in our team. While previous experience in child-minding is advantageous, it is not required as we provide full training.
