Our Finance team is crucial to our success, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable team member to enhance our financial processes. About the Role In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our accounts payable functions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing a high volume of incoming invoices, ensuring proper approvals for payments, and managing various financial records. You will also be responsible for reconciling statements and payment records, meeting month-end deadlines, and completing value-adding tasks as they arise. Key Responsibilities - Manage and process a high volume of incoming invoices efficiently - Obtain correct approvals for payments - Process invoices in Relay and Xero software - Address any issues related to incomplete documentation - Reconcile statements and payment records accurately - Meet month-end deadlines consistently - Complete one-off value-adding tasks as needed - Check invoices against purchase orders in EMC - Process Opex invoices in Approval Max - Analyze costs for budget holders’ review - Ensure payments and credits are applied correctly - Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments - Update cash flow on a daily basis - Process and review expense claims for payments - Undertake ad hoc tasks as required Requirements To be successful in this role, we require: - A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience - Strong problem-solving skills - Intermediate Excel proficiency - The ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with both internal and external partners - Extensive experience in accounts processing, preferably in an FMCG or retail environment - A deadline-oriented mindset with the ability to self-manage tasks - Experience with Relay scanning software is preferred - Familiarity with EMC is preferred Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $64,000 per annum for a 40-hour work week.
