Our focus is on water network maintenance and reticulation renewal construction. About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Network Servicepeople to join our team in maintaining and repairing our water, stormwater, and wastewater networks across the Thames-Coromandel District. This role involves a combination of reactive and scheduled work to ensure our systems operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining water reticulation networks.
- Inspecting and assessing faults, planning appropriate responses, and executing repair work.
- Operating tools and machinery safely (training will be provided).
- Assisting with backflow preventer installations and flushing to uphold water quality.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates will need:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline Construction and Maintenance with Drinking Water Strand) Level 4 or an equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Water Maintenance Industry, with prior experience in Water Reticulation.
- The willingness and ability to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
- Physical fitness, a strong focus on health and safety, and the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- A full class 1 driver's license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
