About the Role We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Workers to join our team for the busy summer season in Taupo and the wider Waikato region. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to participate in exciting events, gain hands-on experience, and earn competitive pay during the warmer months. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Supporting a variety of events with tasks such as event set-up and pack-down - Assisting with crowd control and guest services - Performing general event operations and laboring tasks - Collaborating effectively as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Must be 18 years or older - Have access to a personal vehicle and possess a full driver’s license - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - A clean, or relatively clean, Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check - A positive, can-do attitude - Reliability and effective time management skills - Physical fitness and comfort with being on your feet for extended periods - Capability to follow instructions and work well within a team - Flexibility to work on weekends and varied hours - Previous experience in event work or laboring is an advantage, though not essential Benefits Joining our team comes with several advantages, including: - Flexible, casual work during the summer months - Competitive hourly rates - A fun and energetic working environment - Valuable experience ideal for students or anyone seeking seasonal employment Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
