About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Structural Steel Fabricators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the placement, securing, and tying of structural steel components according to engineering plans. Your work will ensure the structural integrity of our projects while adhering to all safety standards. These positions are full-time and permanent, with site locations determined by project demand, allowing for a diverse working experience across various regions. Key Responsibilities - Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately place and secure structural steel components. - Tie reinforcement steel using appropriate techniques for various reinforcement systems. - Collaborate with site teams to ensure the timely and safe installation of steelwork. - Comply with all health, safety, and quality standards on-site. - Work efficiently within large construction teams to meet strict deadlines. Skills and Experience Required - A minimum of two years of experience in structural steel placement and reinforcement tying, whether in New Zealand or internationally. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings. - Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity. - Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in steel construction. - Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred. - Relevant trade experience or qualifications will be advantageous. The regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington. South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
