About the Role We are currently seeking full-time Aluminum Fabricators to join our team and support various project work throughout New Zealand. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. You will be assigned to different construction and fabrication sites based on project demand, making this position ideal for experienced fabricators who are open to relocating or traveling as required. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminum components and structures. You will need to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints accurately, operate hand and power tools pertinent to aluminum fabrication, and ensure that all work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards. Flexibility is key, as you will work across various sites depending on project deployment. Skills and Experience Required To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of three years of experience in aluminum fabrication, whether gained locally or overseas. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as skills in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials. While a trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred, we value strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and be willing to travel between job sites. Nationwide Opportunity and Travel While this role is listed in the Manawatū-Whanganui region, we are recruiting for positions that will be deployed across all areas of New Zealand based on project requirements. These regions include: North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
