About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Full-time Kitchen Hand to join our team at Southern Cross Hospital in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in the hospitality industry.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Basic food preparation
- Sandwich making
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Serving meals
- Stock control
- Assisting with general kitchen duties and cleaning
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and present themselves well with a friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude. While prior experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn. A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) is ideal, but we can provide training for those who do not have one.
You should have a passion for great food and customer service, as well as a commitment to quality.

Requirements
