About the Role
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential Home located in Masterton. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team in helping our clients achieve greater independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your leadership will enable clients to build confidence, foster friendships, and engage with the community.
The position involves a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening, throughout the week. Flexibility is essential as you will be supporting your team across these different schedules.
What does the role involve?
As a Team Leader, you will assist individuals with disabilities in living as independently as possible while also inspiring and motivating your team. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Organizing meaningful and purposeful activities at home and in the community that promote independence and involve family.
- Performing household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal care.
- Collaborating with your team to implement personal support plans effectively, ensuring positive teamwork and communication.
- Creating a warm and nurturing living environment that values each individual's ideas and feedback, supporting them in achieving their personal goals.

We are seeking candidates who ideally have leadership experience or a genuine desire to develop leadership skills. Key attributes include:

- A full NZ driver's license and the capability to transport passengers safely in our disability vans.
