We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our butchery team as a Qualified Butcher. About the Role As a Qualified Butcher, you will play a vital role in our butchery department. Your responsibilities will include breaking, boning, slicing, and cutting all carcasses and meat in preparation for sale. You will assist in the daily operations of the Butchery Department, ensuring that only high-quality products are presented to our customers. In addition to production tasks, you will help with production planning and prioritize work to meet the demands of the department. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with their queries. Compliance with all food safety and health and safety regulations is essential, and you will work effectively within a team to ensure that our work areas are well organized and managed. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess a strong knowledge and passion for the butchery trade, along with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience. A willingness to contribute ideas and participate in the overall success of the Butchery Department is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. You should be available to work early morning shifts and one day on the weekend.
